You ask "Just what is a HAMFEST?" Quite simply put, its a gathering of persons interested in radios, electronics, communications, it is also a swapmeet, a learning experience, a social event, a networking opportunity, a chance to meet new friends, put faces to the names and call signs you have heard on the radio, it is a chance to see new products, get great deals on gently used gear and most of all...... its a FUN TIME! Also you can... get a license to own and operate your very own radio station!
