Lunch & Learn

The Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce will be conducting a free Lunch & Learn on June 20, 2017 at 130 W. Goodnight Ave from 11:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. Bring your own Lunch and Learn how businesses can access training dollars to up skill workforce, what Customer Service and Soft Skills bring to your business, learn of tools to help provide small business access to leading edge content. Presenters will be Mary Z. Afuso, Director of Customized Training at Del Mar College, where she works with area industry to ensure that their employees are learning the skills they need to compete in the global economy.  Also Kim Hunziker, Program Manager for Office of Employer Initiatives at the Texas Workforce Commission. Kim provides oversight and support for the Skills for Small business program by engaging employers, business organizations, community colleges and the economic development community in the ongoing expansion of a customer-focused, market-driven workforce system.
