Sunday Matinee
When newlyweds, Paul and Corie Bratter, move into a sixth floor walk-up apartment, comedy and mayhem follow, thanks to no heat, a hole in the skylight, a hovering mother, and an eccentric upstairs neighbor. After Corie’s attempt at a romantic atmosphere in their new apartment fails, she complains of Paul’s prudish and cautious behavior, and their marriage appears to crumble.
“Barefoot in the Park” is a romantic comedy about a free spirit wife and her uptight lawyer husband, and their adjustment in their first days of wedded bliss. Neil Simon’s witty and clever play will bring a smile to your face, as you follow Paul and Corie through their trials and tribulations, helped along by a crazy assortment of characters.
